Great picture of TJ getting in a walk on Derrynane Beach, Kerry over the Christmas break.

Joanna O’Riordan - Dec 29 2020 (Dublin area, Ireland):
Oh my Joanna, you're looking particularly tall and slim in that first picture! It looks like you're having some gorgeous running weather there in Dublin.

Giles Archibald - Dec 28, 2020 (Cumbria, England):
So great to see our former colleague and friend, Giles, logging some miles for David's Walk to Cork. These photos capture him walking here with his grandsons: the first is a fun walk in the country side; the second shows him putting them to work on the political campaign trail - delivering pamphlets.

Megen Metzgar - Dec 27, 2020 (Los Angeles, USA):
This picture is from Megan's hike today... straight up a rock scrabble for the first 1.5 miles, then pure views.

Celine Ng Tong - Dec 24 2020 (London, England):
Looks like a gorgeous Christmas Eve day in London weather-wise, despite the lockdown. Picture taken by Celine on her morning run, before heading home to stuff her face with Christmas treats (and a few glasses of wine no doubt)!! Enjoy.

Alan Buckley - Dec 20 2020 (Mamaroneck NY, USA):
Very serene pictures from Alan's walk in the snow. It looks like Messi is enjoying it too.

Celine Ng Tong - Dec 20 2020 (London, England):
Spectacular view from Celine and Brian's run. Weather looks pretty good for December in London!!

Megen Metzgar - Dec 20, 2020 (Los Angeles, USA):
The first picture here is taken from Megen's street looking over the Pacific Ocean to Catalina, the second is one of her neighbors holiday decor - only in California!! Love it!!

Ollie Coakley - Dec 20 2020 (Kinsale, Ireland):
Gorgeous early morning pictures of Kinsale. So beautiful to see the Christmas lights on the boats in the harbour.

JP Provost - Dec 19 2020 (Toronto, Canada):
Good to see that even a temperatures of -18.5C (that's -1.3F) didn't stop JP from going on a walk this morning.

Amanda Spiroulias- Dec 19, 2020 (Montreal, Canada):
Amanda sent these pics from her walk with Jack along the Lachine Canal in Montreal. Nice and relaxing since she's now officially on holiday. Looks cold!

Graham Pearce - Dec 18 2020 (Munich, Germany):
Love this picture of Graham and his daughter Eva from their walk from the top of the Olympiaberg.

Joanna O’Riordan - Dec 18 2020 (Dublin area, Ireland):
Joanna snapped this one while running Friday morning, in the freezing, pouring rain. That's dedication!

Maggie Buckley - Dec 18, 2020 (Bantry Bay, Ireland):
Looking south towards Castletownbere in first photo and towards Glengarriff direction in second photo with Whiddy Island in the foreground. Nice walk from the town centre out by the water.

Emily Buckley - Dec 18 2020 (Newport, Wales):
This is in Wentwood Forest near Newport where Emily and her husband Geraint O'Driscoll live in Wales. Wentwood Forest is part of the largest block of ancient woodland within Wales with a recorded history spanning over 1000 years! Great for dog walks with Rua - again in the rain!!

Robyn Cameron - Dec 17 2020 (Armonk NY, USA):
Was just heading out for my morning 15 mile run, and had to turn back due to snow!!

Megen Metzgar - Dec 13 2020 (Los Angeles, USA):
This beautiful view up her street to the Santa Monica mountains caught her eye as she wrapped up her run today.

Elizabeth Plunkett - Dec 12 2020 (Ballyhaise, Ireland):
Great selfie of Elizabeth and her dad, Felim, while they were out walking on Saturday night around Ballyhaise. They spent the walk reminiscing on some amazing times from the past. They especially spoke about Granny, David and Kevin - remembering all the lovely summers the Newmans spent with them in Ballyhaise.

Adrian Newman - Dec 13 2020 (Dublin, Ireland):
Two more pictures sent in by Adrian from his walk today with Harriet in Phoenix Park and around Dublin. The building is the Aras an Uachtarain (where the president of Ireland lives). Does it look familiar? It is said to have inspired the design of the White House - the architect of the White House was Irish and there are unsubstantiated suspicions that this is where he got his inspiration. Thanks for sending in that fun fact Adrian.

Harriet Hamilton - Dec 13 2020 (Dublin, Ireland):
Some lovely pictures of some wildlife (including David's brother Adrian in the fourth picture in the gallery) and the sunset in Phoenix Park Dublin.

Maggie Buckley - Dec 12, 2020 (Macroom, Ireland)::
Maggie's peaceful walk by the river in the Macroom town park close to Maggie's home.

Colin Newman - Dec 12 2020 (Dubai, UAE):
Gorgeous picture taken by David's brother Colin, who just moved to Dubai this week. Pretty nice view from his walk around the marina.

Emily Buckley - Dec 12 2020 (Newport, Wales):
Very photogenic Rua posing for a photo while taking Emily for a walk early this morning in the rain.

Joanne Newman - Dec 11 2020 (London, England):
Beautiful display of Christmas lights on Regent St in London. Joanne combining some shopping and walking - makes sense to me!

Brian O'Donoghue - Dec 9 2020 (London, England):
Fantastic photo of the Houses of Parliament from Brian's run. Not a bad view!

Gary Gowdie - Dec 9 2020 (Brooklyn NY, USA):
Gary and Janene out for a walk in the snow.

Joanna O’Riordan - Dec 8 2020 (Dublin area, Ireland):
Joanna's view as she steps out of her house, on a cold, dark morning, to embark on her 11.3 mile run. Now that is why she is at the top of the leaderboard!!

Liana Attard - Dec 8 2020 (Singapore):
Thanks to Liana for making a few stops to take these three photos on her 3.5 mile run this morning in her neighbourhood. Only in Singapore can you get everything from ocean front, to marina, to jungle with monkeys. I'm jealous.

John Hall - Dec 6 2020 (Paris, France):
Another great pic of John and his family on a walk to visit friends in Paris (appropriately socially distanced of course). A beautiful crisp day in Paris, and this walk took them by the Pantheon, where great people of France are laid to rest.

Wendy Wattenberg - Dec 6 2020 (New York, USA):
Beautiful view of the Reservoir in Central Park that Wendy snapped on her run around it this morning.

Ciaran O'Sullivan - Dec 6 2020 (Trim, County Meath, Ireland):
Ciaran snapped this picture this morning on his walk with his family - very cold and foggy in Trim. Very eerie... but so gorgeous.

Megen Metzgar - Dec 6 2020 (Los Angeles, USA):
Megen sent these two pictures from her walk on the La Tuna Canyon trail looking to the north to Malibu, and west to Catalina Island. I couldn't decide which one to post, so figured I'd put both up!

Colin Newman - Dec 5 2020 (West Cork, Ireland):
This picture, taken by David's brother Colin today on his walk at Lough Hyne, near Skibbereen in West Cork, has to be on the list for one of the most beautiful. This spot will definitely be on the list for our next visit to Ireland (and hopefully the weather will be like it is today!)

Liana Attard - Dec 5 2020 (Singapore)
Two lovely pictures from Liana taken on her recent runs in Singapore.

JP Provost - Dec 4 2020 (Toronto area, USA)
Another day of snow in Toronto. JP is still out walking to Cork, and will be breaking his snow shoes out pretty soon.

Sarah Demet - Dec 4 2020 (Chicago, USA)
Sarah sent this this great picture from one of her recent long walks by Chicago's lakefront on a sunny mild day. Enjoy those days while they last Sarah.

Janice Jones - Dec 3 2020 (Perth, W Australia)
Janice shot this picture while walking in her local bush park, making the most of the mild weather in Perth before the real heat hits. Aah, I can almost smell the fragrance of the gum trees.

Graham Pearce - Dec 1 2020 (Munich, Germany):
Graham's selfie on his 10-mile round-trip walk to final radiation treatment (hence the big smile I'm guessing). Judging by the snow on the ground in this picture of Chinesische Tor, winter has most definitely arrived in Munich. Also interesting to note that this would normally be a bustling Christmas market at this time of the year, but alas not in 2020! Big sigh.

Joanna O’Riordan - Dec 1 2020 (Dublin area, Ireland):
Joanna sent this picture this morning of the most beautiful sunrise, taken on her early morning run (Dublin area). If we had sunrises like that here in Armonk, I might be motivated to get up early and run (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it)!

John Hall - Nov 29 2020 (Paris, France):
Oh what a wonderful picture of John and his beautiful family on a walk in Paris in David's memory on Sunday. Fresh out of lockdown (when they are finally allowed to walk more than 1km from home base) so a walk to the best view of the Eiffel Tower appeared to be the order of the day. Nice Movember look John!!

Carole and Chris Spencer - Nov 29 2020 (Perth, W Australia):
My sister Carole sent this picture in of my brother-in-law Chris on their walk at Mindarie, Western Australia (just north of Perth).

Joanne Newman - Nov 29 2020 (London, England):
Running in London was foggy this week, but David's sister Joanne still managed to snap this beauty on her run in Dulwich Park this afternoon.

Megen Metzgar - Nov 28 2020 (Los Angeles, USA):
What a great view of LA from the hills in Franklin Canyon, taken on one of Megen's many runs and walks.

Alessia D'Aietti - Nov 28 2020 (Portugal):
Another lovely photo from Alessia from her run this morning by the beach in Portugal.

Paul Vivash - Nov 28 2020 (London, UK):
Great to see David's brother-in-law Paul logging a mile today in Dulwich Park, London, even with his foot in a boot and on crutches. Great stuff Paul. Looking forward to seeing some more miles in the coming weeks as your ankles heals.

Gary Gowdie - Nov 27 2020 (Brooklyn NY, USA):
Lovely picture taken by Gary on his walk in Prospect Park (Brooklyn NY) on the morning after Thanksgiving... obviously walking off some of yesterday's turkey!

JP Provost - Nov 27 2020 (Toronto area, Canada):
JP walking in Canada - snow on the mountains already, and ski season officially starting this weekend.

Alan Buckley - Nov 25 2020 (Mamaroneck NY, USA):
Another beautiful picture from Alan on his walk in the woods and by the water.

Joanna O’Riordan - Nov 23 2020 (Dublin area, Ireland):
Joanna has been clocking up a lot of miles this past week (watch that Leader Board). Here is a picture of the very zen view taken this morning on her run - Greystones South Beach (south of Dublin).
Alessia D'Aietti- Nov 22, 2020 (Portugal):
Magnificent picture of evening sunset in Portugal, taken during Alessia's 3.5 mile walk/run tonight.
Maggie Buckley - Nov 21, 2020 (Macroom, Ireland):
Maggie's moonlight walk in Macroom, County Cork, Ireland.
Robyn Cameron - Nov 20, 2020 (Armonk NY, USA):
Out for a 2 mile walk with my pup, Bindi.
Wendy Wattenberg - Nov 20, 2020 (New York, USA):
Lovely picture taken in Central Park by Wendy on her walk 3.5 mile walk through the Strawberry Fields.
Alan Buckley - Nov 19, 2020 (Mamaroneck NY, USA):
Not a bad view! Thanks for sending this beautiful picture Alan of daily your early morning two mile walk.
First Miles - Graham Pearce - Nov 17, 2020 (Munich, Germany):
This gorgeous picture was taken by Graham Pearce, our first logger of miles in the Walk to Cork. On November 17th, 2020, Graham walked 8 miles, through the Englischer Garten in Munich to his daily radiation therapy and back plus, once over the Olympiaberg. My dear friend Graham, you are an inspiration to us all. We are all pulling for a full recovery for you.
